Manufacturing Update

We have been working closely with our manufacturing partners for months on the Sparkr Flip and Wick lighters and we're really confident that we'll have the finalized engineering drawings by next week. 

With these finalized designs, we'll begin opening the necessary molds for mass production by the end of this month. This will keep us perfectly on schedule with our posted timeline to get you these awesome new lighters as quickly as we can! 

Frequently Asked Questions  

How do I select which Sparkr lighters I want in my reward?  

We will be sending out a survey the day after the campaign ends where you will be able to select which Sparkr’s you would like. This is also when you will provide your shipping address for where you would like to have you pledge delivered.  

Why is International Shipping so expensive?  

We’ve had quite a few questions about the international shipping fees being high for such lightweight items so we’d like to give you further insight into where those fees are coming from.  

Canada and EU Backers: We’ll be shipping all product to fulfillment centers within your country or union. This means we’ll be paying all taxes and customs fees associated with your order prior to its direct shipment to you so you won’t be paying any additional taxes or customs fees upon receiving your product. 

The alternative to this method means a lower shipping fee on Kickstarter but higher overall shipping cost to you after you pay taxes and customs. Here’s an example of Shipping to two Sparkr lighters to the United Kingdom:  

Shipping Fees: $9  

VAT Fee: $9  

Total Shipping Fee: $18  

Other International Backers: We're not shipping from within your country which results in us having to use expensive, express shipping due to these products having internal lithium-ion batteries. This unfortunately is the only safe and legal way to ship these products to you.
